Everybody has an opinion about Israel and Palestine. I myself only had a hostile image of Israel. For a long time it remained that way, until I went to Israel myself. In recent years I've been there many times. I have made both Israeli and Palestinian friends and, as cliché as it may sound, my image of the country and the people who live there has changed drastically. I noticed that my generation, or at least most of those I’ve met, want to live together peacefully. But under the pressure of polarization the solution always seems unattainable, leading to despondency and frustration. Armed with my video camera I travelled to Israel and spoke with the younger generation about their country, their identity and their future.
